Long lasting Makeup Tutorial

I finally discovered a recipe for long lasting makeup. I’m talkin’ 12 hours long! Bay Area Life: Dressing with Confidence

Growing up I always admired fashion contributors and stylists in the media. I’d tune in to The Today Show or Good Morning America to listen to their commentary. My mom always told me I would be good at that. Even at a young age I was confident enough to recognize that I had the breadth of knowledge to provide thoughtful tips and advice – #passionforfashion. But what I didn’t realize is how much I would enjoy it! Back in March, I had the pleasure of filming a fashion TV segment, in my home office, with ABC. It aired on May 5th during the lifestyle television show Bay Area Life. It was SO fun to see how the film crew took six hours of footage and sliced and diced it into an award-winning (if I say so myself!) five minute segment. Bravo: Victoria, Janel, and team! Mom Shorts: My New Favorite Summer Style

If this outfit looks familiar, you have a good eye. To me, it is the shorts and bare-arm version of this look. I recently had an epiphany: mom jeans are the best style of denim and mom shorts are even better! Hear me out.      Modest Length I can’t speak for you, but some of my biggest pet peeves are when skirts or shorts ride up. It’s like with every step you take, you have to pull down your bottoms. #Annoying. I’m not into the whole “cheeky” thing unless I’m at the beach! Mom shorts are a huge fashionista satisfier because they are the appropriate length haute out of the box. They are also a high rise garment, alleviating the chance of them riding up even more. Hooray!      Modest Fit Similar to the full-length jean that you’re accustomed to, mom jeans are made for mobility. They are a working girl’s kind of short. Power Couple vs Powerful Couple

I have a problem with the term “power couple.” By referring to life partners as a “power couple,” it implies that some couples are not powerful, and perhaps they are not accomplishing life-goals together. Pardon the unsolicited advice: do NOT settle for anything less than you deserve!      In my opinion, SUPPORT is the glue that holds every strong partnership together – not the perceived accomplishments. And you should not have to beg for it! If your partner does not support your endeavors, move on. You are a team – a united front. Your partner should get pleasure out of having your back. We all deserve empowering relationships; anything short of a powerful relationship is below par. Don’t sell yourself short!
