Wishlist Wednesday: One of Everything [lululemon giveaway!]

I’ve said it before, and I’ll say it again, lululemon is one of the greatest creations on the planet! There is nothing more comfortable to work out in and nothing more attractive to wear in between. Happy St. Patrick’s Day!

Celebrate St. Patrick’s Day with a satisfying sweet treat! First introduced to me by a college roommate, chocolate covered popcorn is one of those sweet and salty delicacies you cannot get enough of. Aside from it being truly delicious, it’s quite simple to prepare and easy to store the leftovers.   Here is what you’ll need to whip up a batch:   12 oz package candy melts or chocolate chips (I chose green candy melts in honor of St. Patrick’s Day!) 2 bags of buttery popcorn   Begin by melting chocolate in a microwave-safe bowl, or a double-boiler on the stove, stirring occasionally with a rubber spatula.   While chocolate melts, pop both bags of popcorn and set aside to briefly cool.     Once chocolate reaches a smooth consistency, slowly scoop popcorn little by little into bowl and cover completely in chocolate. Continue this process until all of the popcorn is covered, dividing into two bowls when necessary.   After that, line two cookie sheets with wax paper and spread out the finished product allowing it to harden for about 60 minutes.     Serve as a snack or dessert and enjoy! Floral Metallic and Pastel Pink

If you caught a glimpse of this yesterday evening, my apologies! I got a little too excited while drafting this post and hit publish instead of preview. Anyway, just like I alluded to earlier this week, pastels and metallics are steadily hitting the shelves as the beginning of Spring nears. Whether you are planning your Easter outfit or Spring Break attire, it is never too early to start coordinating and planning your ensembles.   If you live in San Francisco, dressing in layers becomes routine. On the right side of the road it can be sunny and 70 degrees, while on the other, in the shade, it can be 55 degrees and windy! So before hitting the San Fran streets, I always pack a sweater or light jacket. When I came across this cotton candy colored floral metallic coat, there was no way I wasn’t ordering one for myself. Wear this piece buttoned up as a coat dress or pair it with separates. Liv for Today

This week, I had the pleasure of “playing” in the colorful closet of one of my favorite local shops, Liv Fashion Boutique! By playing, I really mean trying on various pieces and styling my favorites – there is nothing more fun for a fashion aficionado (thank you, Olivia!). While I would take one of everything from this cute little store, the look I chose to model is one that is easy to replicate, and can take you from the office to the dinner table.   When you come across a flattering patterned top, buy it! It’s easy to get into the habit of stocking up on solids and basics, but those won’t do you any good when you’re in a rush and you find yourself having one of those “I have nothing to wear moments.” When I tried on this multicolored top, I could immediately tell it would pair nicely with virtually any color denim, coated denim, or leather.
