Lace Romper

Last week on IG I made a joke that I wanted to renew my vows just so that I could wear this lace romper. While it is certainly true that this hot number is PERFECT for a bride, it will effortlessly “up” anyone’s style game! Now that’s a lot of power for a $42 item! Even though we were definitely not exchanging any vows, I still managed to get in a few engagement-style photos with Jonathan. But more about his cameo appearance later…     Serious Question: what can you get for $42 these days? Considering our two salads and drinks yesterday were well over $42, it ain’t lunch for two! Five Time-Saving Beauty Tips

30 years old and 30 minutes faster. I’m a night owl, but late nights and early mornings were cramping my beauty routine. Aside from developing those infamous dark circles, when I’m tired I’m dreadfully SLOW. But painting this face each morning is a diligent task, and my goal this year is to be more punctual. I perpetually run 10 minutes late and I’m not proud of it. So in an effort to be on time I’ve managed to shave 30 minutes off of my morning routine. Here are my top five time-saving beauty tips!   Micro-blading Micro-blading my eyebrows last December was one of the best decisions I’ve ever made. In fact, it was life-changing. I cannot describe the satisfaction I feel waking up with perfectly primped eyebrows. Before tattooing my brows (it’s not as scary as it sounds) I would not leave the house without filling them in. It did not matter if I was going to workout, to the beach, or to the hair salon. If I was leaving the house, my brows were fixed. Chartreuse Top + Flame Red Jeans

Chartreuse: the perfect shade of yellow mixed with a hint of green! I’ve been a fan for decades. In fact, my childhood bedroom is still chartreuse. I find it to be a happy hue. What is not to like about that?! As a lover of color, one of my favorite things to do is mix unexpected colors together.       I cannot paint a pretty picture with a brush, but I can create a pretty cool outfit mixing contrasting colors. Tip: consider the family, not the hue. Do not waste time fixating on the “perfect” shade of red, or the “right” shade of green. Remember, if it’s in the same color family, the colors are complimentary. In this case, vermilion and chartreuse. Commonly known as red and green, no one questions whether or not Christmas colors! Catch my drift? Hopefully photos do this chartreuse top justice. I am not sure what I love more: the bubble sleeves or the floral embroidery.
