Birthday Bash at the Bar Method

If you follow me on Instagram, then you were probably bombarded with b-day party madness last weekend for my big 3-0. And if you don’t follow me on “the gram,” no need to worry. You’ll get your fair share of birthday bliss right hurr. #YoureWelcome. Now my version of a “Birthday Bash at the Bar” is probably not what you were expecting to hear. Instead, it was a killer workout at The Bar Method – San Francisco Marina Studio.     There is nothing like starting the weekend with a whooping bang. And when a 60 minute workout involves master teacher Jen (left), and former Raiderette star, Kathleen (right), that is what you’re going to get. It was an absolute honor and privilege to introduce my fav bloggers and babes to the other kind of bar. Sequin Blazer for Year Round Wear

The holidays may be over, but that doesn’t mean you have to retire the sequins. Keep the party going with a sequin blazer! Unfortunately this striped version sold out faster than I could blog it, but I’ve linked to a handful of shimmering beauties. Here’s how you can style one for wear all year round.     One statement piece is enough. With so much going on up top, keep things simple down below. Consider pairing your glitzy blazer with jeans or straight leg pants. Now I’m all about a pop of color. After all, I own a pair of bright pink boots! But rather than “popping” your sequin blazer with shoes, try a bold lip or small leather good instead. I chose a red lipstick, but rouge gloves would also do the trick. Unless you’ve been hiding under a rock, then you know that Pinterest is the search engine that all of the “cool kids” are using. Simply put, there is no better way to find answers and inspiration to all of your “out there” ideas, than through this extremely visual platform. Well, using their exclusive “pinsider” data, our friends over at Pinterest HQ have compiled a Top Trends to Try in 2018   list. Here are some of the top trends in women’s fashion – evidently I’m right on point!     Larger than Life Earrings Should I pat myself on the back for this one?! I think my Gucci earrings qualify as LARGER than life (insert laughing emoji). I could not agree more with this fashion prediction. Sometimes all it takes to effortlessly transform an ok outfit into a masterpiece is a pair of statement earrings. Jewelry lovers rejoice!
