Wish List Wednesday: Blushing Over Blush

There once was a time where I was the true meaning of a pink lady. Just about everything I owned was pink! My love for the color went as far as having a custom license plate made for my car reading, “Pink 1” I kid you not! I was that girl. After the pink party ended several years ago, I swore I’d never wear the color again. Fast forward to 2016 and here I am again blushing over the color blush! This ensemble is currently on my wish list…although by the end of this post, it might be in my shopping cart. Although my taste in color has certainly diversified since way back when, there is something so loving and sweet about the pale pink hue. When I came across these satin trousers, my creative mind began to roll. How fabulous would these be for a holiday party or date night soiree?! Wish List Wednesday: Fall Frames

It’s sunny season…and by that I mean it’s time to break out a new pair of sunglasses! Don’t let the winter blues hit you early, stock up on stylish shades while the sky is still bountiful with sunshine. Below are a few pairs of fall frames currently on my wish list. I mentioned these beauts before, but in case you missed the memo, the Teggy by victory optical is the fall’s hottest item. Chic in a Cape Dress

If there is one piece of advice you should take away from my blog write ups it is this, invest in a cape! Covering your shoulders with a cape is the chicest way to do it. Whether it be in the form of a shirt, blazer, or cape dress, this wardrobe addition will effortlessly step up your style game. As stylish as they may be, there is definitely a right and a wrong way to style a cape. To avoid the super hero look, show some skin. If you’re rocking over the knee boots, for example, gravitate towards a sleeveless under shirt and a cropped cape. Or, if you’re wearing a leg baring dress, consider a longline cape. It is all about the balance! Over the last couple of weeks, I have not left the house without a poncho or a cape.
