Black is always safe and it does not have to be boring. When I found this mock neck maxi dress, I knew it needed something to put it over the edge. Normally I would layer up with necklaces and earrings, but half of the reason this dress is such a sharp piece is because it is SO sleek. This yellow moto jacket was the perfect finishing touch. I used to avoid wearing garments with silver hardware, as I prefer gold, but it is one of my fashion resolutions to mix metals. I accessorized with black accents – a purse and tassel earrings and polished off the look with pearl embellished booties (last seen here).
