Bootie season is officially among us. It is my favorite time of year because the earthy colors are exquisite and booties are a comfortable style of shoe. Whether you’re in a dress, jeans, or something in between, the right pair of booties can elevate your ensemble. Below are two pairs currently on my wish list.
Let your velvet obsession begin! Who would have thought that this fabric would resurface in a variety of shapes and forms?! I sure didn’t after I retired my velvet overalls from Gap way back in the 90s (insert laughing emoji). Anyway, I’m stoked that velvet is “in” again because it’s actually very regal. How about this block heel bootie?! The “Edit” in blue is dreamy and it’ll match with everything you already dress your blue skinny jeans with.
It is safe to say that Kristin Cavallari and I have the same taste in shoes – I live in her slouch bootie during the work week. Just as I went to order another pair, I discovered the “Santorini.” OH. EM. GEE. Never have I ever laid eyes on a funkier shoe. I cannot decide what I like better, the geometrical shaped heel, or the color blocked design. Whether you choose the black, brown, or cognac, I guarantee your feet will be the best dressed in the room.
