Last December I featured this bodysuit on the blog in emerald green. Y’all LOVED it! Specifically, it was a blog post about dressing for your spouse/significant other. Do you dress up for date night? If you answered no to this question, click here to find out why you may want to reconsider. Anyway, when I saw this statement piece available in rose gold it was a match made in heaven. I attract all things pink and sparkly, glitz and glam! And if you are reading this article, then you probably do too!

We all need this bodysuit! It is an instant mood booster and a great item to have on hand for the holidays. Did I really just say that?! I CANNOT believe today is the last day in October. Anyway, there are two ways to style this bodysuit…with jeans and with a skirt. Today I am all about the latter, but refer here for jean inspo (think white denim!). When styling a statement piece, consider a monochromatic scheme. This is a very simple way to coordinate an ensemble without competing with the focal point (in this case the skirt).

To me, this look resembles liquid metal…the best kind – rose gold! To prevent your monochromatic scheme from looking too uniform, consider mixing textures. The sequins, feathers, and pleats create dimension and an aesthetically pleasing effect!
