We are five days away from the biggest “hallmark holiday” of the year. Whether you are celebrating with your galentine or your bae, make it a memorable one with these five Valentine’s Day Date Ideas! Hear me out.
Take an Exercise Class
Couples who sweat together, stay together! Show your partner that you’re genuinely interested in his/her favorite physical activity. Whether that means going for a brisk jog or hitting the mats at the yoga studio, you’ll feel accomplished afterwards and it’ll be fun because you are together.
Movie or Netflix
The Oscars were last night…you probably already have a list of movies on your “watch list.” If you prefer a trip the theatre over your couch, go see Parasite while you can. If Netflix and chill are more your jam, consider binging the award winning comedy The Marveleous Mrs. Maisel, or the gratuitous thriller You.
Maybe Friday is the night you finally try out your Home Chef subscription and prepare a delicious meal together. Or, maybe Valentine’s Day is the day for your roles as chef and sous-chef to reverse. These recipes are easy to follow and immensely flavorful.
Practice a little self-care this Valentine’s Day weekend with a trip to the nail salon. If Jonathan came home from work and said, “let’s go get mani pedis” I’d be V impressed…just sayin’. Hint hint. It may be your first time in one of those plush back massaging chairs, but I can assure you it won’t be your last!
Go out for Dinner
I get it..it’s Friday night and after a busy work week the last thing you want to do is prepare a meal. Make going out to dinner an adventure in itself and arrive on two wheels. Take a scenic detour and ride bikes or scooters to the restaurant. Tip: throw a compact hairbrush in your purse (or don’t and arrive with windblown hair).
