This way, if you’re on a tight schedule, you won’t have to spend time coordinating outfits and you will cut down on the bulk. Meet the “Bright Mind Chartreuse Lace Romper!” This spicy number is great for warm weather destinations and perfect for your after dinner affair. The lace back will keep you cool and the chartreuse color is killer – not to mention easy to match with. While you might be thinking, “I would never wear an open back romper,” hear me out! Easily pair a white, ivory, navy, or even magenta cropped blazer or cape with this piece for a more conservative look. Wish List Wednesday: Summer Kicks

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again! One of the easiest ways to funk up an otherwise bland look is to rock a bold shoe. This works for pants outfits, dresses, and even a romper. If you cannot already tell, I am in love with the “Levita Ankle Strap Dress Sandal” because it accomplishes just that. And because a girl can never have enough shoes…here are a few that I am currently swooning over! The “Lullaby Dressy Floral Sandal” is to die for! If there was a picture next to the word “glamorous” in the dictionary, it would be of these. Perfect for your black monochromatic ensembles, or your favorite colored jeans, all eyes will most certainly be on the shoes when you step out in these things. The adorable flower detail across the toe strap is the icing on the cake. Unless I’m going to workout, I hardly ever wear flat shoes, but with the summer approaching and a beach weekend on the calendar, it’s time for me to get with the program and purchase a darn pair! Last of Lilly Pulitzer and a Side of Pineapple Punch

Kimonos are one of my favorite articles of clothing, so when I came across this pineapple printed one, in the Lilly Pulitzer for Target collection, I had to have it! Kimonos are great because they double as a swimsuit coverup and a fun accent piece. There are many ways to style a kimono. Wear it open over your ensemble, or belt it closed over your favorite bodycon dress. Pair it with shorts, pants, or a skirt, flats, wedges, or heels. The opportunities are endless. In the ensemble below, I styled Lilly’s satin kimono in “Pineapple Punch,” with a high-waisted skirt and crop top. If it wasn’t for the extra coverage provided by the layering piece, I wouldn’t feel comfortable stepping out in a crop top and painted on bandage skirt. Thanks to the kimono, it is a different story and it’s a win win – wear the outfit without feeling self-conscious. Anyway, I chose a white skirt to stick with the color scheme of the kimono, but chose a bright blue top to jazz things up a bit. More Lilly Pulitzer for Target

After pulling an all-nighter to get my hands on some pieces from the Lilly Pulitzer for Target collection, it’s only fitting for me to properly showcase some of my favorite items! The Ponte Crop Top in “Boom Boom” is the perfect balance of flirty and fun. The bright green and white print is great for the spring and summer months. Wear this top with a high-waisted white skirt, and strappy white sandals, or go a different route and style this top with some white jeans. I chose a pair of white flare jeans, but it would also work with some straight leg trousers. I further adorned myself with a black and green necklace, a chunky bangle, and my plaid clutch wallet. Finally, I polished off the look with a contrasting bright pink shoe (surprise surprise!). Lilly Pulitzer for Target: It Has Arrived

The Lilly Pulitzer line for Target officially launched last Sunday…I wish I could say that it made its debut without a hitch. From the minute word hit the street of this exciting collaboration there has been quite a buzz. Anxiously awaiting to get my hands on these pretty prints (along with every other fashionista across the nation), here’s my experience in a nutshell. April 18 11:55 pm PDT: After logging onto target.com from my iPhone and refreshing the home page a dozen times, the “Preview Collection” button turns to “Shop Now.” I hectically scroll down the list of products and find none of which were on my wish list…weird. 30 seconds later, I take a stab in the dark and add three random items to my cart, enter my billing and shipping information, hit “place order,” and a confirmation email shows up in my inbox at 12:03 am PDT. Now after midnight early morning on launch day, I pull up target.com from my desktop computer. Finally most of the products appear and are ready for purchase.
