Rather than indulging in a donut for breakfast, treat yourself to a healthy smoothie! This protein packed frozen drink will keep you feeling satisfied for longer and help you cut back on snacking in between meals. In no way shape or form am I a nutrition expert, but I am speaking from experience. Here is what you’ll need to blend up a single serving of this concoction: 1 banana 1 handful of berries (I used strawberries) 1/2 cup crushed ice 1/2 cup Greek yogurt 1-2 tablespoons almond butter After slicing up the banana, pour banana, crushed ice, Greek yogurt and almond butter into blender, pulsing until smooth . Once mixture is smooth, add berries of choice. Serve and enjoy or transfer into your favorite travel mug and sip on the run. A word about my Hamilton Beach blender.
