How to Wear a Suede Vest Day or Night

I’ve been yearning for a suede vest for quite some time now, so when I spotted this cognac dazzler (similar here), at Marmalade boutique, I had to have it! Cognac apparel is very appealing because of its versatality – it matches with black or brown accessories. I was going for a comfortable daytime look that could also pass for happy hour attire, so I paired the vest with a simple white tunic and a pair of black tie dye leggings (both from Liv Fashion Boutique ). Effortlessly spruce up an ensemble by throwing on some printed leggings. To make the white shirt more interesting, I layered a statement necklace with my everyday Roberto Coin pendant. Although a pair of flat boots would have been adequate, I styled this outfit with black knee-high heeled boots. After 5:00 pm, the high-heels come out, so if they’re comfortable, save yourself the trouble and rock ’em all day long! Don’t have a pair of printed leggings? No worries, a pair of dark wash skinny jeans would be the perfect substitute, and if you’re more partial to brown, go ahead and break out your brown boots. Chocolate and Peanut Butter Fudge Squares

If you’re a fan of Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups, whip up this decadent confection. Comprised of only five ingredients, chocolate and peanut butter fudge squares are a quick and easy addition  to your holiday menu.   Here is what you’ll need to prepare this dessert:   1 cup melted butter or margarine 2 cups graham cracker crumbs 2 cups confectioners’ sugar 1 cup peanut butter 1 1/2 cup chocolate chips 4 tablespoons peanut butter   Step one: Dump in butter, graham cracker crumbs, sugar, and peanut butter into medium sized bowl.     Step two: Thoroughly mix ingredients above.     Step three: Carefully press mixture into the bottom of 9×13 pan. No need to grease the pan.     Step four: Using a double-boiler or a microwave-safe bowl, melt chocolate chips and 4 tablespoons of peanut butter.     Step five: spread chocolate mixture over the graham cracker crust and refrigerate for two-three hours.     Step six: cut into squares or bars and serve.
