It’s that time of year again! Contrary to the rest of the US, San Francisco is historically cold during the traditional “summer months.” Every year I look forward to the end of August when the temperatures begin to rise and it is finally dress and shorts weather. How to Throw a Hot Tub Party

It is always hot tub weather in San Francisco, and entertaining friends and family is one of my favorite pastimes! I’m finally checking hot tub party off of my summer bucket list ✔️ and spilling the deets with you. Here is how I transformed #ClubKaplan into a tropical oasis.     The Theme Always begin with a theme. The theme is the “glue” that holds the party together. Next, make a list of the decor and food items that remind you of the subject. I chose a tropical theme, and when I dream of the tropics, I fantasize about Hawaii! Now do you see where I am going with this?! The “Aloha” balloon banner, tiki umbrella, and palm print seat cushions totally set the scene. For an even beachier feel, I attached fishnet to the facade of the hot tub and hung artificial flowers from it.
