As a two year resident of San Francisco, I can say with confidence, that you can never own enough jackets! Not necessarily your down or fleece-lined parkas, but lightweight jackets that are easy to layer with are a wardrobe necessity. Although the temperature may rise to a gorgeous cloudless 70 degrees during the day, once the evening strikes and the wind picks up, it gets chilly – even during the summer months.
When I came across this black and white patterned jacket at H&M, I grabbed it up immediately. Fitted and just the right weight, this classic beauty is suitable for wearing all year round. This weekend I paired it with a light pink sleeveless blouse and white bandage skirt (black would work too). Although I am a huge fan of monochromatic color schemes, I incorporated pale pink for a nice feminine touch. On a cooler day, I might style this jacket with black slacks and a white button-down boyfriend shirt. I polished off my Sunday Funday look with pearl jewelry and my favorite black and white tassel sandals from ShoeDazzle.
