There is something to be said about designer ready to wear clothing. Not only are the quality and fit exceptional, but the service should be as well. The salesperson took one look at me and pulled this dress off of the rack. How did he know that it was just my taste and that it would fit me like a glove?! When I tried it on I was immediately impressed with how well the princess seams shaped my figure and how gracefully the bell sleeves hung. But most of all, the COLOR. The rich teal silk drapes like flowing water. Hopefully these photos do it justice!
Anyway, last Sunday was our five year wedding anniversary, and I wore this YSL dress to commemorate the occasion. Although I bought it in 2013, it never gets old getting dolled up in this beauty – I wear it differently each time. I took a page out of my cousin’s playbook, and accessorized with a fashion turban. I felt so chic! I added a touch of gold with a vintage leaf brooch and Chanel earrings. Needless to say, I fit in perfectly at the rooftop bistro where we dined. Always remember, when in LA, the more drama the better!
