Brunch with the Baes: Recap + Video!

If you keep up with my blog on a regular basis, then you know Jonathan and I recently held a contest for our mutual followers to win a brunch on us, with us! Le Marais Bakery was so very generous to host us at their charming Casto District location. They boast a beautiful Farm Table behind the pastry counter that makes the perfect space for an intimate get-together. Read more about this San Francisco “institution” here. Leading up to the event, a few close friends individually asked me if I was nervous about picking a winner at random. I really wasn’t and here is why!    Ever since I was a little girl I was either put or putting myself in potentially intimidating/nerve wracking situations. Sequin Jumpsuit for Valentine’s Day

If I was getting married in 2019 my bridesmaids would wear this jumpsuit (insert heart eyes). But considering Jonathan and I are going on our eighth year of marriage, a dinner date will have to do! We do not plan on renewing our vows anytime soon. As we approach the end of January, now is the time to start planning your outfit for Hallmark’s favorite holiday, Valentine’s Day!     This sequin jumpsuit stuns from every angle. The sweeping bell sleeves are regal and the wide leg pants are instantly elongating. And if you could not already tell from the photos, the pant legs are see-through and the garment features a peek-a-boo romper. This is what I refer to as “Latina sexy!” If you live in a cold climate consider topping your sequin jumpsuit with a faux fur shawl.     About the fit:This sequin jumpsuit is not labeled petite but it definitely fits like it is! Rainbow Tweed Suit the Kelsey Kaplan Fashion Way

I never thought I would wear a tweed suit! I have always associated tweed fabric with a preppy style of dress, and “preppy” does not describe me. But after falling in love with this rainbow tweed suit, I have come to a realization. It is not the fabric, it is how you wear it. This rainbow skirt suit is not your average tweed garment – the funky colors alone make it a total standout. But the puff sleeves, crop fit, and pearl buttons are what make it STELLAR!
