Pink Crochet Shirt for the Fall

Crochet used to be considered a summertime fabric. Not anymore folks! That is why I live for fashion in the 21st century – there are no rules! Today I am sharing with you how to rock a pink crochet shirt during the fall. Begin with a cami or bandeau. I chose the latter because the fall months are actually San Francisco’s hottest, but if you’re in a cooler climate, go with a full length camisole. White or nude would work underneath a crochet shirt. You could also top your shirt with a longline or fur vest for added warmth. Sleeveless outerwear will take your ensemble from June to October in a matter of seconds! If it were July or August, I would be pairing this shirt with white denim. But when white is out of the question, traditional blue is always a safe alternative! I dressed this top with bell bottoms to play off of the 70’s vibes already going on. YSL Dress for a Special Occasion

Three years ago, my hubby and I were in LA for a business trip. It was my first time to Southern California so we hit all of the major hotspots. Rodeo Drive was one of them! We ended up in Saint Laurent after they strategically invited GG, our Shih Tzu, inside. We couldn’t leave the store without buying something, so my hubby gifted me with this YSL dress! This was not the first or the last time GG instigated an unplanned purchase… There is something to be said about designer ready to wear clothing. Not only are the quality and fit exceptional, but the service should be as well. The salesperson took one look at me and pulled this dress off of the rack. How did he know that it was just my taste and that it would fit me like a glove?! When I tried it on I was immediately impressed with how well the princess seams shaped my figure and how gracefully the bell sleeves hung. But most of all, the COLOR. Wish List Wednesday: Feather Hem Dress

I just returned from a 36 hour trip to Los Angeles. Long story short, my hubby had a meeting down there so I joined him and we went to a live recording of Dancing with the Stars. I have been a huge fan since season one, so I was ecstatic to see the production up close and personal. Being one of the most glamorous shows on television, it only seemed appropriate to get dolled up in sequins and sparkles. Many of you have inquired about my feather hem dress, after seeing it on Instagram stories, but sadly it is no longer available. Believe it or not, it is four years old! Gingham Bow Blouse and Edgy Accents

You can never go wrong with a black and white ensemble – it is season proof. Now let’s talk about this gingham bow blouse. Dramatic sleeves are IN! Simply put, the bigger the better. If you are trying to step up your chic game, this bow-tiful blouse will help you accomplish just that. Stop people in their tracks without breaking the bank! Featuring pleated bell sleeves and a sash tie waist, this $19 black and white beauty can be dressed preppy or chic. And when you are not wearing it during the fall, style it with your favorite shorts during the spring and summer months. Although I appreciate a handsome preppy look, I added my own style touches throughout this ensemble, beginning with distressed denim. Wearing ripped jeans will undoubtedly transform your outfit from polished to edgy. I stuck with black denim because I did not want it to become distracting. Lace V-Neck Shirt

Fall colors are the easiest to wear. I realize this statement is very general, but hear me out. Unlike the summertime where your options are neon, during the fall months, royal colors prevail. These richly saturated hues, across the board, are complimentary against every complexion. This makes getting dressed and buying clothes a lot easier! It is also during the Autumn months where it is perfectly acceptable to accent your royal tones with your favorite warm weather hues. Hence the turquoise accessories featured in this look… I have made it a goal this season to add more tops to my wardrobe. I often find myself styling dresses and jumpsuits. While those garments are definitely my favorite, when it is time to wear a simple outfit, I do not have many tops to choose from! Peplum silhouettes are already one of my favorites, so when I laid eyes on this lace v-neck shirt, it had a home in my closet. This top could pass as a designer item although only priced at $44.97.
